The highly prestigious Birmingham Conservatoire has been chosen as the venue for this year’s National Barbershop Quartet Contests, incorporating Quartet Prelims and both the Seniors and Youth Quartet Contests.

These contests will take place on Sunday 21st November at the Birmingham Conservatoire.

If you are not singing in a quartet, come along and support the competitors, there is plenty of room and it’s free to watch! So start planning your day out in Birmingham now - we know you won’t be disappointed.

The winners of both the Seniors and Youth Contest will be decided on the day, as well as choosing which 16 quartets go through to the Semi-finals in Harrogate.

Youth/College Contest:
2008 winners were Monkey Magic who qualified to compete in the Barbershop Harmony Society’s Collegiate contest earlier this year in Anaheim.

Seniors Contest:
2008 winners were the Royal Males who qualified to compete in the Barbershop Harmony Society’s Seniors contest next January in Tampa.
