Diversity and Inclusion Representative Role The BABS D&I Sub-Committee is here to support you. That is why we are encouraging all clubs to appoint a D&I Representative. This role can be moulded to fit your chorus need and is a great step towards creating an inclusive space. The person nominated should ideally have a commitment to promoting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, be a good listener and sensitive to marginalised issues. Job title: Diversity and Inclusion Officer/or other title Responsible to: Committee (optional) Responsibilities can include but are not limited to the following:• Support the Music Team in selecting songs mindfully, that would not offend marginalised groups or members within our community• Creating policy on D&I where needed• Supporting club recruitment in an inclusive manner• Advising on updates to constitutions or rules to be more inclusive• Supporting individual needs of members• Liaising with PR and marketing teams to show the chorus as an inclusive and welcoming space • Keep up to date with BABS Diversity and Inclusion updates Manage Cookie Preferences
