Welcome to Harmony College 2022.

We are delighted to be able to offer Harmony College In Person 2022

BABS is delighted to offer the following scholarships and awards for this year’s Harmony College: 

Directors: for any BABS member wishing to enrol on the Directing Stream

Music Educators* (x2): Any non-BABS music teacher, educator or leader who wishes to enrol on any Stream

Arrangers: Any BABS member who wishes to enrol on the Arranging Stream 

College Chorus: Any BABS member who wishes to enrol on the College Chorus Stream

Personal Development: Any BABS member who wishes to enrol on the Personal Development Stream

Quartet: 'Four for three' – one free place to one BABS quartet member attending the Quartet Stream

New Member: Any BABS member who joined after 1 Jan 2021 to attend Harmony College

Joe Liles Scholarship: Any BABS member (under 26 on first day of HC) who wishes to enrol on any stream

Seniors: Any BABS member (55 or over on first day of HC) who wishes to enrol on any stream and has not previously attended HC.

BOTY, YBOTY, and Recruitment Champions: Winners of each get a free place at Harmony College

All of the above, except *, are open to BABS members only

Application forms are available from Alistair Lamyman, Grants Secretary [email protected] and must be submitted by 1st June. Decisions are made early in June.

Top tip for success?  Take care over your application, include as much supporting detail as possible, and include a letter of recommendation from your Chair or Musical Director. 

Notes: 

  • Scholarships and awards do not include travel to and from the venue. 
  • Scholarships and awards are for standard accommodation only. Additional room requirements will need to be paid for separately. 
  • Scholarships and awards are for attendance Friday morning to Sunday afternoon. Those wishing to add Thursday night accommodation will need to pay for this separately. 
  • When awarded a scholarship or award, you should still book your place using the online system to confirm your attendance.
