Sing2021 28th to 30th May 2021

As announced previously, we had made the tough decision to cancel our in person convention however we are working hard to put together a fantastic online event in its place. This is going to be a fully interactive weekend and we can now reveal how we would like you to participate!

We hope that all of our BABS members will get involved and we want to include contributions from every single member of our community.

To make this event a success we need your help. There are many ways you could get involved, and we have highlighted some below, so please complete the form below to let us know how you can get involved.

Content Producers

You will be responsible for writing scripts and putting plans together, and managing the process of content production. You will be a creative thinker and able to make changes in response to feedback. You will need to communicate effectively with members to get information. Experience writing copy/scripts, putting plans together and managing the process of content production will be useful.

Event Producers

Event Producers will help with running the live events, and will be required to help sort live streams. You will work with the editors and content producers. You will need to have experience of running live streams using platforms such as YouTube and Zoom etc. You will need to be able to work to deadlines and make changes in response to feedback.

Video Editors

Video Editors will edit the different packages into their final form. The Editor will work collaboratively with the Events Team to ensure that the packages maintain the high production values, with use of B-Roll and multi-camera views from recordings submitted by participants. After cutting these packages, the Editor will be expected to add lower-thirds for participant names, where applicable, create a well-balanced audio mix and deliver the files to meet the deadline of the event. You will need to be able to work to deadlines and make changes in response to feedback.


Administrators will help with the organisation of the event and all the separate sessions in between. They will be need to work in collaboration with the Events Team and assist with the running of all sessions. Experience in managing databases and booking systems will be useful.
