BABS Social Media and Marketing Teams

We are always recruiting to expand our Social Media and Marketing teams to help tell the BABS story both at events and online. Roles include Web Manager, Online Campaigns Manager, App Manager and Social Media Team (Events).

If you have any questions, or would like further information about any of the roles, please contact [email protected].

BABS Vice-Chairman

Could this be you or a barbershop colleague? It’s a strategically important role, as if you are appointed you will be expected to step up into the Chairman’s job, when Alan Hughes ends his term in December 2022.

It’s a job right at the heart of BABS, leading the future direction of this vibrant organisation for the benefit of its members. Committee experience in your club is helpful, as is experience gained elsewhere in being part of a successful management team.

If you are interested in this position, you are welcome to call for an informal discussion. Contact Pat Perridge on [email protected] or 07785 331375.

BABS Director of Events

A great opportunity to join the BABS Board and make a real contribution to the future of UK barbershop.

Key responsibilities are the planning and organising of future conventions, and the venue and facilities side of Harmony College and the Quartet Prelim competition. You will be looking ahead, working on events two to five years in the future. You will have a dedicated manager reporting to you for each of these events, taking care of Operations, and behind each of these, a team of experienced people taking responsibility for all key areas. You will attend Board meetings and play a part in the overall management of BABS.

You will have previous experience in the management of major projects, the leadership of teams and managing external suppliers.

The customer satisfaction from our members after attending BABS events is high, and very rewarding for the team that put it all in place.

If you would like to know more, and believe that you may have the necessary skills, please contact Pat Perridge, BABS Administration Director as soon as possible and before 31 May 2020. Applicants will be asked to submit a business and musical CV, outlining their past experience.

If you are interested in this position, you are welcome to call for an informal discussion. Contact Pat Perridge on [email protected] or 07785 331375.

Please note these are unpaid positions but all expenses are reimbursed.
