On Sunday 30th August, barbershoppers from around the globe tuned in to BABS Live! The Harmony College Edition, the second online concert from BABS (the British Association of Barbershop Singers).

Hosted live once again by Chris Langworthy and James Gower-Smith, along with Shanna Wells and Sam Hubbard, the show featured the very best of barbershop from around the world.

Sam Hubbard gave us a lowdown on the 'stats' from Harmony College and we gave everyone a taste of what Harmony College can be like with a fantastic video with a voice-over from Andrea Day. Once again we included our Memory Lane features and many people sent in their memories from our Harmony College events. We also featured our special guests Steve Scott, Vocal Spectrum, Jordan Travis and the amazing Rhiannon Owens-Hall who was instrumental in barbershop growing in the UK. This show finished with a virtual chorus of barbershoppers singing the ‘closing numbers’ under the direction of Dale Kynaston, the BABS Director of Music and Education.

We are now enjoying our month of music with our SingSeptember initiative and we are looking forward to Harmony College Online in November.
