30+ MDs from across the association joined each other to share ideas to help each other lead their choruses through these difficult times and beyond.

The event was chaired by Dale Kynaston and hosted and produced by Shanna Wells.

Questions were submitted ahead of the event for discussion and many more were brought up throughout the hour long session which is the first of 3 over the next few months.

There was a huge amount of positivity and support between directors and a great sense of solidarity, which bodes really well for future sessions. It was so good to see some familiar faces smiling across the screens discussing the many ways clubs have been engaging with their members. Ideas and practices were shared and it was great to know we are all in this together.

Note to clubs: if your MD did not attend the first session then please encourage him or her to attend one of the next events, or the Assistant Director if the Director is unavailable. It would be great to see them!

We are already planning on what to do during the next session so watch this space!
