Rob Foot, Content Producer Rob started singing barbershop while studying Music at the University of Manchester, and very quickly became involved in quartet singing with Tagline and helping to bring the Manchester University Barbershop Singers to their first BABS Convention in 2014. Tagline has been responsible for a lot of surreal experiences in Rob’s barbershop life, from winning a BABS Quartet Gold medal in 2015 and an International Youth Quartet Silver medal in 2018 to singing about Simon Cowell’s love of Mr Poppers Penguins in front of the man himself, an audience of a couple of thousand people at the Hammersmith Apollo and many more viewers on ITV2. Rob’s role mainly centres around the production of BABS Live!, coming up with content ideas, scripting, shooting, editing and then directing the live broadcast. Rob draws on his experience of working within Film and TV, predominantly on live shows like the BRIT Awards and the MTV EMAs. While his day job mainly revolves around logistics and contracts, which aren’t really necessary when everyone is a volunteer filming everything on their own laptops, he has worked alongside some of the best in the industry at their jobs so has some good role models to copy! Outside of barbershop and work, Rob is a keen runner and fan of all dogs. Manage Cookie Preferences
