Simon is an experienced award winning Chorus Director (Lux A Cappella and Tuxedo Junction), Quartet Champion (The Locksmiths), Chorus Champion (Hallmark of Harmony) Qualified BABS Singing Judge, International Barbershop Educator (working with Holland Harmony, SABS, IABS), Arranger and Composer, as well as the BABS Barbershopper of the Year 2019 and finalist for the BHS International Barbershopper of the Year.

Simon has also acted as a faculty member for previous BABS Harmony Colleges, composing an original piece ""What A Time"" for use with the College Chorus in 2022.

Outside of Barbershop Simon is a Choral Director for no less than 8 in person Choirs/Choruses, leads the Online Virtual Choir ""The Collective"", works for Leicestershire Music Hub as a Voice/Singing Music Leader, teaches Private singing lessons and works in schools teaching Music and Music Technology.

He also has 4 children and a very patient wife…
