The 2026 National Quartet Preliminary Round Contest

Key Information

• Date: Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th of November 2026
• Location: Landau Forte Academy Tamworth Sixth Form, Ashby Rd, Tamworth, B79 8AA

All video entries will be judged privately during the live event weekend. The in-person Prelims will be livestreamed, with regional submissions included in the broadcast.

Regional Video Submission Sessions

• North West – TBC
• South East – TBC
• South West – TBC
• Scotland – TBC
• East Midlands –TBC

Qualification Information

All subsequent rounds of the contest will take place at Sing2027 in Brighton.

• The top 12 National quartets from Prelims, and all International qualifiers, will sing in the Semi-Finals
• The top 4 Youth quartets and top 4 Senior quartets will compete in their respective Finals
• The top 6 National quartets from the Semi-Finals, and all International qualifiers, will progress to the Quartet Finals

Coaching Sessions

• Coaching takes place on Sunday 8th November
• A £25 deposit is required to secure a slot
• The deposit is refunded after your session
• If a booked session is missed, the deposit will be forfeited
