AMM Recap

Sunday 13th September saw approximately 50 attendees gather on Zoom to attend the Autumn Member Meeting. The full minutes, along with a full recording of the meeting can be found at the link below, but a summary of the key points are as follows.

• The annual subscription charge has increased to £65 per member, and £32.50 for those in Full Time Education, and those who are members of LABBS & SingUnited Region31
• The BABS Board have budgetted for a deficit of £38,000 going into the 2026/27 financial year.
• There will be an additional meeting of the BABS Council in November to discuss Convention more generally, and discuss ways to combat rising costs.

The Kentones are having an Open Evening on October 22nd

The KENTONES (www.thekentones.co.uk) were formed in 1975 and are one of the most established male groups in the country. If you enjoy singing, we welcome you and our Section Leaders will ensure you are in the right barbershop harmony section.

We Are Looking For New Members And Cordially Invite You To Our Open Evening.

• Finding people in your area who are interested in forming a quartet 
• Seeking a new Musical Director for your chorus 
• Getting help with some of your Chorus IT or Marketing
